Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk – October 27
Join the thousands of Pensacola residents, breast cancer survivors, business and community members putting on their pink bras at the 2012 American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) 5K walk to fight breast cancer and provide hope to all people facing the disease. The pink bra is a symbol of just how personal this fight is and it’s the new centerpiece for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Florida. So, put on your pink bra as we create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays!
The 10th Annual MSABC walk is scheduled for Sat., Oct. 27, 2012 beginning at Cordova Mall. Registration and festivities begin at 7 a.m. and the walk will begin at 8 a.m. Walkers may form a team or walk individually. The team name: mafia – -ma•fi•a mutually supportive clique: a close-knit or influential group of people who work together and protect one another’s interests or the interests of a particular person.
MSABC TEAM LEADERS:
Plan to attend Bank Night on Tues., Oct. 23 at Regions Bank, downtown branch, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Please bring your team’s money and pick up T-shirts. For every $100 raised per registered team member you will receive a T-shirt.
