OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES AVAILABLE BEGINNING NOV. 6 IN NAVARRE
NAVARRE, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2012) – Andrews Institute Rehabilitation in Navarre is pleased to announce that certified hand therapist Marta Brinkley, OTR/L, CHT, has joined its team and occupational therapy services will be available beginning November 6, 2012.
Mrs. Brinkley brings more than 30 years’ experience to Andrews Institute Rehabilitation in Navarre. She has played a key leadership role in developing hand therapy clinics throughout the Southeast and in 2011 she chaired the National Annual Meeting for The American Society of Hand Therapists. Her specialties include care for patients with hand and upper extremity injuries; fabrication of customized orthoses (splints); and provision of a full range of modalities as well as patient and family education to help treat the condition and allow for carryover to home.
Andrews Institute Rehabilitation in Navarre is located at Baptist Medical Park – Navarre, 8888 Navarre Parkway. The department serves patients recovering from a wide variety of conditions – including orthopaedic post-operative recovery, neurological disorders, general deconditioning and weakness, and gait/walking disorders.
