Central’s Jernigan Wins Golf Tournament

Jesse Jernigan takes the overall winner’s spot for the fourth time this season.  Central, Milton and Pace competed on Thursday at Tanglewood.  Jesse scored a 37.  This is his lowest score of the year.  He was down a stroke against the player from Milton going into the 8th hole, he was able to tie it up with a par and the other fellow shooting a bogey.  Jesse shot par on the 9th and the fellow bogeyed again, so Jesse was able to edge him out with one stroke for the win.  When asked about the last hole, Jesse said, “My hands were shaking on the last putt.”
