Commissioner Bob Cole Appointed to NACo Committee

Cole Appointed to NACo Committee  

Commission Vice-chair and District 2 Commissioner Bob Cole was officially nominated and appointed to the National Association of Counties’ Environment, Energy, and Land Use Committee. 

 As a committee member, Commissioner Cole will contend with all matters dealing with water, noise, and air pollution. Waste management, disposal, and energy conservation will be other issues that will be faced in this appointed position. With the implementation of a new congress next year and the responsibilities in a federal administration landscape, committee members will face many challenges that will impact several counties.

 The National Association of Counties, also known as NACo, represent over 3,000 counties before the Administration and Congress. It is headquartered on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
