Teresa Hendricks is the coach for both he boys and girls this year. She had these comments about the teams:
Very proud of the girls. Not bad for the first meet. Gives us something to work with. Focusing on get those gaps closed between runners so we can improve. Only one school was in our district – Pensacola Christian. We like to run these invitationals to improve our district standings and take make us better by running against larger schools, will give us the experience needed for the smaller meets.
Proud of the guys also for stepping up and running some of their best times for season start. Looking forward to a stronger boys teams since 2011 rebuilding year. A young team hoping to keep them injury free throughout the season with only 6 running. But a good field of experience in the making.
