NAS Whiting Field to Re-open Thursday

NAS Whiting Field will re-open its gates and resume normal work hours beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30.   Naval Air Station Whiting Field personnel should return to work at their normal work schedule.  Active duty personnel, contractors, government civilians and other authorized persons assigned to tenant commands on the base should contact their supervisors to determine the authorized time to return to work.

All NAS Whiting Field and tenant command personnel are asked to continue monitoring local radio and television stations for further updates concerning base status, closings and re-openings in case of unanticipated weather changes.  Information will also be posted on the NAS Whiting Field Facebook fan page at https://www.facebook.com/#!/#!/naswhitingfield.
