Pace Man Arrested For Indecent Exposure
A Pace man is in the Santa Rosa County Jail after publicly exposing himself on at least two occasions. David Hair (W/M, 51 years old) remains in jail after being arrested on August 7th, 2012.
The arrests were a result of two warrants that were filed by the Sheriff’s Office against Hair. The first incident occurred on July 30th, 2012 at Hair’s residence located at 5536 Windrun Place, Pace, FL at approximately 0430 hours. A citizen had contacted the Sheriff’s Office stating that Hair was sitting inside his open front door, unclothed and masturbating. When the officer arrived, he observed Hair involved in this activity. When Hair saw the deputy, he ran from view and put on some clothes. When Hair was asked why he was doing this in plain view, Hair stated that he didn’t know why and that it “was stupid”. The deputy filed for a warrant based on this behavior. The second occasion occurred on August 7th, 2012 at the same residence around 0530 hours. The complainant had called the Sheriff’s Office and stated that they observed Hair standing completely nude in front of an open window, with the lights on, masturbating. The complainant stated that they had observed him doing this “for the past few days”. When deputies arrived, they observed Hair run from view of the window. Hair shouted to deputies that he would come to the door, and that he had to “put clothes on”. Hair told deputies that he “has a problem” and that he likes to masturbate while watching outside. Deputies asked Hair if he was doing this with the intentions of people seeing him, and Hair stated, “Not completely”. Hair acknowledged that he knew what he was doing was illegal.
Two warrants were issued for the arrest of Hair for Indecent Exposure in Public (one count each). He is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail with a $3000.00 bond. Hair had been involved in prior suspicious activity back in 2010, and was given trespass warnings from twoSanta Rosaschools (S.S. Dixon Intermediate andSimsMiddle School). Children at the schools had disclosed that they had observed Hair hiding in the wood line near the schools. Deputies and school officials were made aware of the activity, however no suspicious or illegal activity was observed after the warnings were issued. Hair has a previous conviction from the 1990’s inEscambia County,Florida, for exposure of sexual organs.
