Baptist Health Care Welcomes New Chief Development Officer
Brian Matson has been named senior vice president and chief development officer for Baptist Health Care.
Matson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in strategic planning and business development. He joins us from Sacred Heart Health System (SHHS) in Pensacola, where he served as vice president of operations transformation. Prior to his role at SHHS, he worked in a health care consulting capacity for PricewaterhouseCoopers Healthcare Consulting in Atlanta and Birmingham, and V4 Consulting in Atlanta and Tampa, as well as in an operational role with Baycare Health System in the Tampa area.

Matson earned a master’s in health services administration from University of Alabama at Birmingham, bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Alabama. He and his wife, Sherri, have been married 20 years and have a beautiful daughter, Ali, who is four years old.
