12U Tri-County All Stars
The 12U Tri-County All-Stars are in the State Tournament in Alexander City.
Represented from Fidelis park is Blayne Miller. Jay park is represented by Dutch Burkhead, Reid Kelly, Jackson Free & Jackson Flowers & representing Century park is Seth Killam, Jackson Moore, Michael Jones Jr. Jeremiah Woods & Kendrell Redmon. Coaches for the team are Gary Killam and Doodle Langhorne. The boys are playing today at 3 pm and 6 pm due to yesterday’s rain delay.
The boys lost the first game at 3pm in extra innings. The game was tied 2 all when Alex City claimed the win with a 2 run out of the ball park home run. Tri-County faced Childersberg in the second game and lost 11-5. Games continue on Monday, July 9, 2012.
I’m so proud of these boys! This is a great group of talented athletes. We are up against some very strong teams that have played together for years & most are travel ball teams. To be such a young team coming together to play as only an all star team we are standing our ground & making the other team earn their win. Tomorrow is a new day & we are hoping for a win! Good luck Tri County! Lets do this!!!!
