South Interstate Fire 90% Contained

The Fire that started on June 26th south of Interstate 10 around Avalon Blvd. in Milton is 90% contained.  It is holding at 250 acres, there is no running fire and the Florida Forest Service  has it 90% contained.  Ag Law has determined the cause to be an equipment fire north of I-10. Crews will continue to monitor what’s left of the hot spots this evening and return in the morning to continue what could be a week or more of constant watching.
