Stormy Weather?
What is happening in the Gulf of Mexico? According to several weather sources there is a large low pressure system located just inside the Gulf of Mexico. The low pressure system is expected to make significant changes over the next 48 hours. As of right now there are three scenarios for the storm. One is for the system to slowly move to the east over Florida and weaken. Another is for it to move to the west and bring rain to the Texas coast. The last (70% chance) is for the system to strengthen and develop into a better formed cyclone. The weekend forecast is for showers and scattered thunderstorms over the eastern Gulf of Mexico.
