Gulf Breeze Gets Heart Cath Lab
The new, state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab now open at Gulf Breeze Hospital has enhanced patient access to innovative heart and vascular services, helping to meet the growing need for these services locally.
Representatives of the media are invited to attend a private tour of the lab Friday, June 15 between 9 and 11 a.m. A ribbon cutting will be held at 9:15 a.m. This event is not open to the general public.
A $1 million investment, the Gulf Breeze Hospital cardiac catheterization lab offers convenient access to diagnostic imaging and treatments for heart disease, heart valve disease and blockages of the arteries in the legs, treatments not previously available at Gulf Breeze Hospital. The facility also is equipped for some interventional radiology procedures. The lab reduces significantly the reasons a patient would have to travel from the Gulf Breeze community for care.
