Swimming Advisory for Santa Rosa County
Swimming Advisory
- The Santa Rosa County Health Department’s Environmental Health Division has posted signs at Carpenters Park in Milton and Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze advising residents to avoid water related activities in that area. All other inland swimming areas have had the advisory lifted.
- Bacteria levels in the water remain extremely high, and may expose those entering the water to waterborne diseases. Those with open wounds or weakened immune systems may be especially susceptible to illness.
- The Santa Rosa County Health Department will continue to monitor water quality in our area and will advise residents when testing indicates that it is safe to resume water related activities.
- For more information, contact the Santa Rosa County Health Department’s Environmental Health Division at 850-983-5275.
