People On The Move – Steve Sarros
Baptist Health Care is pleased to announce Vice President Steve Sarros as the new chief information officer. 
Sarros brings a broad and deep background in health care information technology (IT), having spent the last 25 years in roles of progressive responsibility. Most recently, he served as vice president of technology and information solutions with Spectrum Health, a large, progressive integrated delivery network (IDN) in western Michigan. Prior to joining Spectrum in 2006, Steve served for nine years with Catholic Healthcare Partners in several IT leadership roles including corporate vice president and chief technology officer.
“Steve has a strong IT background with large complex health care systems. His experience in leading IT strategic planning, and rolling out electronic health records will take Baptist to the next level of technology,” states Kerry Vermillion, senior vice president and chief financial officer. “Steve’s background and experience paired with his strong values is a great cultural fit for the Baptist family.”
Steve received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Purdue University.
