Jay High Royal Pride Band and Guard Banquet
The Jay High Royal Pride Band and Color Guard held their annual Awards banquet at the community center to a standing room only crowd. All band members were recognized for their participation and were awarded medals and commendations on their achievements this year. The band had a record year, scoring Superior at several competitions and making it to the State and scoring “Excellent”. The Final Awards presented were : John Philip Sousa Award – Noah McCarthy; Most Outstanding Band Member – Noah McCarthy; Keith Fox Leadership Award -Allison Blair; Director’s Award – Dallas Belanger. The Class of 2012 presented Mrs. Connie Petis, director, with a new podium designed with the Royals in mind.
