Jay Quarterback Club Sports Banquet

The Annual Jay Quarterback Club Sports Banquet was held Thursday night, May 10, 2012.  The banquet is a time to celebrate the accomplishments of the year and to honor all of the varsity athletes.

Some of the Special Highlights were:

• Haden McCaskill – Captain of the Football Team
• Girls Track – Top Three Scorers: Jessica Thorton, Caristyn Golden and Jorja Agrait
• Extra Man Award – Zach Covert and Jackson Flowers
• M.B. Gross Award for Academic Excellence – Tessa Hendricks
• Merle V. North Award – C. David Smith
• Girls Softball – Runner Up in Class 1A State Championship ( 38 days without a loss)
• Boys Tennis – Winning season with 8 straight wins
• Thanked – Allison Russell for singing the National Anthem at sporting events for Jay
• Football – Homecoming Victory
• Tori Reid and Crystal Brown – PSC Cheerleadering Scholarships
• Tyler Prescott – Baseball Scholarship to Huntingdon College
