Lady Royals Advance to Regional Finals
The Lady Royals defeated the Poplar Springs Atomics 4-1 in the Class 1A Regional Semi-Finals. Jay will advance to the Regional Final game. They will host Holmes County Blue Devils Tuesday, May 2 at 7 pm.
Coach Brian Watson in his eight year as head coach of the Lady Royals has led the girls to post season play 5 years. “I am happy for the girls” Coach Watson stated after the game, “we had a error free defensive game, Poplar Springs pitcher did a good job allowing only 6 hits.”
