Baptist Medical Group Website Receives National Award
PENSACOLA, Fla. (April 23, 2012) – Baptist Medical Group, a Pensacola-based network of more than 100 physicians and affiliate of Baptist Health Care, recently received an Award of Merit from the Healthcare Marketing Report recognizing their website as one of the top healthcare websites in the nation.
BaptistMedicalGroup.org was recognized out of nearly 4,000 received entries in the 29 th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards competition where a national panel of judges reviewed entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. Baptist Medical Group’s Award of Merit was the only award bestowed upon a healthcare system from our region.
“It’s wonderful to be recognized for our hard work and know that our website is exciting those in the marketing industry, but it’s most rewarding to see that we’ve developed a website that is successfully helping our local community find caring, board certified physicians with ease,” states Baptist Medical Group marketing manager, Stephanie Boerjan.
The website, launched in 2011, offers patients the ability to find a physician, locate an office, download new patient paperwork and even request an appointment online – all in about three clicks or less. Patients are also invited to share their own stories, read helpful health articles, watch videos and more.
This is the second award for the consumer-friendly Baptist Medical Group site. The first was a Silver ADDY® Award from the Pensacola chapter of the American Advertising Federation in February 2012.
In addition to the website honor, the Healthcare Advertising Awards recognized Baptist Medical Group with an award for their April 2011Bella magazine advertisement featuring Dr. Sangeeta Patil.
