Senior Women’s Softball Spring Nationals Tourney

Pensacola to Host Senior Women’s Softball Spring Nationals Tournament April 12 – 15 at Exchange Park

The City of Pensacola in partnership with the Pensacola Sports Association will host the third annual Softball Players Association (SPA) Senior Women’s Spring Nationals Softball tournament this week.  The event will be held April 12 to April 15 at the newly refurbished Exchange Park located at 3200 East Lakeview Avenue.

Thirty-one (31) teams from 11 states, including Missouri, Maryland, Virginia, New Mexico, Arkansas, Kentucky and Michigan will attend. Returning champions from Ontario Canada, the Sportaculars Canada 70s, will defend their 70+ championship. Age divisions range from 35+ to 70+, and two local teams, Currin Graphics 40’s and Pensacola Senior Ladies 45s will participate for the first time.

Opening ceremonies will take place on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. at Exchange Park. Admission is free to all games, which will commence on Thursday, April 12 for the 65+ and 70+ teams, on Friday for the 60+ teams and on Saturday for the 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+ and 55+ age groups.
