Fatal Accident on Hwy 98

Robert Dakota Brannon, 18, of Navarre, Fl lost his life in a traffic accident on Hwy 98 Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 1pm.

Dakota was traveling west in the westbound outside lane of U.S. Hwy. 98 and was approaching the intersection of Kelton Blvd. Brannon,for reasons under investigation, left the roadway and traveled onto the northern grass shoulder of U.S. Hwy. 98 and collided with a cement utility pole.

The Honda then rotated counter clockwsie and vaulted into a cement traffic light pole located on the Northeast corner of the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 98 and Kelton Blvd. The Honda came to rest at the base of the cement traffic pole, on its left side, and facing in a southwesterly direction.

Dakota Brannon was pronounced dead at the scene.
