Almost Irish Twins Celebrate Birthday

A joint birthday party was held March 31 for siblings, and Jay residents, Greg Holloway and Susan Holloway McGee at Stone Lake near Century.
Friends and family joined to help usher in the “half century” celebration of life for Greg and the 49th for sister Susan.
The Auburn themed party was the brainchild of Greg’s wife, Dawn, and was jointly “catered” by Chubby Haveard, and attendees who brought their favorite side dishes. The Auburn themed cake was made by Kara Jenkins Knowles, owner and baker of Stirrin It-Up.
The stone fireplace at the pavilion at Stone Lake was the perfect setting for the photo collage displaying the lives of the “almost Irish twins,” born 1 year and 3 days apart.
