Lady Royals Win Over Flomaton
The Jay High Lady Royals defeated the Flomaton Hurricanes 8-2 Monday, March 5, Stats to follow.
The JV Lady Royals suffered a tough loss 4-3 to the Hurricanes.
The Jay High Boys came up short in the non-district game against the Hurricanes 5-4 along with the JV who lost 6-2.
Stats for the Royals varsity game:
Lp- Todd Laney 1-1 4IP 5H 5ER 4BB; Hitters: Chandler Burgess 1-3; Hunter Vaughn was 2-3 with RBI single in the 5th to cut game to 5-4; Conner Weekes was 1-2; Tate Upton knocked in a run with a sac fly in the 4th; Logan Brown was 1-3 with a double. The Royals Record is 2-2.
