People on the Move – Kara Benedict, BSN, RN
PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 1, 2012) – Baptist Health Care would like to announce Kara Benedict, BSN, RN to the Governance, Risk and Compliance department as our new director of clinical risk management. Benedict will have oversight of the corporate wide systems for clinical risk management as well as help identify, investigate, and reduce actual and potential clinical risks through variance reporting, trending, training, bench marking and process improvement measures.
Benedict earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia and graduated with honors. She has worked in direct patient care, nursing leadership and quality improvement positions throughout her career. In addition, she brings an extensive critical care, cardiac and trauma nursing experience.
