Milton Man Arrested After Stabbing Two Subjects During Confrontation

On 2/26/2012 at 0339 hours, deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriffs Office were dispatched to the Santa Rosa Medical Center regarding a cutting/stabbing complaint. Two victims were present at the hospital and stated that the incident occurred at the Outer Limits Restaurant located at 5717 Vonnie Branch Road, Milton, FL.  One of the victims, Marva Willingham (B/F, 40 years old, Milton, FL), stated that she was a patron at the Outer Limits.  Willingham said that she observed a confrontation between two men occurring outside the establishment.  The suspect, Demetrius Mason, was on top of the other victim, Demarquis Perkins (B/M 27 years old, Pace, FL).  As Willingham approached the suspect, Willingham was stabbed in the abdomen by Mason.  Perkins suffered a sliced lower lip, a cut below the eye, and a stab wound to the forearm.  The altercation was allegedly over Mason thinking that Perkins said something inappropriate about a female.  None of the injuries were life threatening.  Both victims identified Mason as being the person that injured them.  Deputies were unable to locate Mason at that time.  A warrant was issued for Mason’s arrest.  Mason was located on 2/27/12 in a vehicle parked in front of his residence located at 4220 Crosswinds Drive, Milton, FL, and taken into custody.  He is currently being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail with no bond.  He was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
