Sheriffs Office Investigating Home Invasion in Milton

On 2/20/12 at 1800 hours, Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 6407 Skyline Drive, Milton, FL in reference to a home invasion.  When deputies arrived, they found that the following had occurred. The female victim, Sandra Burke, stated that she was in her bedroom and heard someone knocking on her front and back doors of her residence.  She then heard the glass in the back door get shattered.  Three suspects (two males and one female) entered the home and confronted Burke with a firearm.  While the victim was held at gunpoint, the two other suspects went through the house removing miscellaneous electronics and items of value.  The victim was not able to call 911 at that time due to being held at gunpoint.  The suspects then left in a red SUV with an Okaloosa license plate and white “For Sale” letters all over the windows of the SUV.  The suspect identities are not known at this time.

The suspects are described as being in their late 20’s to early 30’s, all having tattoos. One of the male suspects was Hispanic with a bigger build and approximately 6’00”.  The second male suspect was described as approximately 5’07”, white, skinny, with a shaved head.  The female suspect was described as white, with shoulder length “stringy” blonde hair.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Santa Rosa Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP (7867) or Detective Tynes at 850-983-1239.  Information provided through Crime Stoppers that leads to the arrest of the suspects may result in a cash reward of up to $1000.00.
