Community Basketball Championship Tournament Begins
The Community Basketball Championship Tournament began Monday, Feb 20. At the Chumuckla Gym the Dura-Med Braves defeated the Chumuckla Warriors 21-19. The Braves will go on to play on Thursday night at the Jay High Gym.
The second game of the night was between the Jay Cubs and the Chumuckla Indians. The Indians took the game 36-25. The Indians will move straight to the Championship game that will be on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Jay High Gym.
Other games are scheduled this week at both Chumuckla and Jay. The girls championship will be held Saturday at Chumuckla and the boys at Jay.
