Two Fatalities in Early Morning Accident
Jacob Adam Lee, 24 of Pace was driving a 2001 Ford Mustang southbound on Bell Lane. He lost control of the vehicle on the wet road surface as it approached the intersection with Hartley Dr. Both Jacob and passenger, Patrick Ryan Dicks, 28, of Milton were pronounced dead at the scene. The accident occurred at 1:19 am on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012. Jacob travel out of control onto the west shoulder of Bell Lane, the vehicle rotated in a counter clockwise direction, struck a tree and overturned landing on the roof. The vehicle came to a final rest on the west shoulder of Bell Lane. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, both the driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts.
