Upcoming Star -Zac Wright

Zacery (Zac) Wright, 9th grader at Central is an upcoming star in boys basketball.  Zac is the son of Keristen and Eddie Wright.  He has two brothers, Dalton and Tristan. His maternal grandparents are Gary and Bobbie Hagler.

Zac has been playing basketball since he was  in the 4th grade.  Zac feels his greatest achievement in the sport was winning an AAU Championship and being selected for the Varsity team at Central when he was 14.  Zac says what he likes most about basketball, “it drives me to do better and brings the best out in me”. This season Zac averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds for the Jaguars.

During the off season Zac works on conditioning and lifting weights.  He occasionally plays AAU Basketball. Zac hopes to one day to see his dream of being drafted by a Division 1 school  turn into reality and getting to play in the NCAA league.  Family basketball is also  tough around the Wright home as all of family gets  involved.  Zac’s first cousin, Makayla is on the Lady Jags Varsity team. They are just weeks apart in age, both play left handed and both are upcoming stars in the sport of basketball.
