JHS Tennis Team Begins Season

The Jay High Tennis team made history Tuesday, Feb. 7th in the afternoon playing their very first match in Pace.  “We have only been playing about a month, but I have seen a lot of improvement already”, Coach Melvin Kersey said about his team.  The inaugural  team will have much to learn, and according to Kersey,  “we are having to play against teams that have been established for many years, but we are still learning and having fun”.  Although the Royals were defeated, they were able to gain valuable experience in the matches.
