Santa Rosa School District’s Teacher of the Year – Jeffrey Baugus

SANTA ROSA SCHOOL DISTRICT’S TEACHER OF THE YEAR

 Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick, School Board Member Scott Peden, members of the Santa Rosa Education Foundation Board of Directors, and local media surprised Jeffery Baugus in his 8 ^th grade algebra classroom this morning to announce his selection as Santa Rosa’s Teacher of the Year.

The SREF Teacher of the Year Selection Committee, which consists of administrators, business and community leaders, and past Teachers of the Year, observed finalists in their classrooms and conducted extensive interviews in the process of selecting this year’s Santa Rosa Teacher of the Year.  Jeffery will be Santa Rosa County’s nominee for Florida Teacher of the Year.

Santa Rosa’s Golden Apple Celebration will be held on February 24, 2012 at New World Landing to present
