Lady Royals- win one, lose one

The Lady Royals hosted the Northview Chiefs Tuesday night .  The JV Lady Royals won easily over Northview 40-24.  Leading the Jr. Lady Royals was Morgan Kelley – 12 points.  Also scoring for the Royals were: Bristen Campbell – 2 pts., Katie Baker – 4 pts.,  Dana Blackmon -7 pts., Kolby Copeland -3 pts., Kennedy Salter -1 pt., Bailey Upton -4 pts., Hannah Prescott -4 points, Destiny Herring -2 pts and Paige Smith – 2 pts.

The Lady Royals were unable to hold on to their early lead and lost to the Chiefs 48-41.  Becca Calloway led the Royals with 23 points that included 6 – 3points shots ( a career high as most 3’s in one game).   The Lady Royals were missing  two key players sidelined due to  injuries from the last game. Both Shelby Barnhill and Olivia Wright were unable to return Tuesday night.
