Lady Royals drop two to Baker

The Lady Royals were unable to maintain the lead and fell to the Baker Gators 46-56.  Jay jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter but Baker continued to battle back.  The Royals had a 32-23 lead at the first half but were unable to contain Baker’s Kathryn Quiggs (#5), who scored 30 points.  Hillary Hendricks led the Royals with 17, Becca Calloway -13 points, Tessa Hendricks -12 points and Emily Russell -2.

The Jay Junior Varsity lost their first game of the season to Baker 31-20.  Scoring for the Royals were: Carissa Mulford -7 points, Bayleigh Upton -5 points, Briston Campbell -4 points, Dana Blackmon -1point and Katie Baker -1 point.
