Merry Christmas

In  just one moment, one “man” changed the world.  God gave us the ultimate gift in the birth of his Son, Jesus Christ.  On an ordinary night, in an ordinary stable, to an ordinary couple, God came.  He came for us – the ordinary.  He changed the ordinary into the incredible. 

As we decorate our homes, waiting on company to call, are we looking for a visit from God?  Do we expect him to turn up in the ordinary, when we least expect it?  Do we see Him during this season as we stop for the moment and look for Him?  Do we see Him in the secret Santa’s that are paying off layaways?  Is he there in the eyes of  the needy? Do we keep Him in our hearts all year?  or just for the season?

Life changes on ordinary days, we just have to recognize the incredible moments.  Look for the moments that God gives us each day, every month, all year.
