William Earl Henderson
William Earl Henderson, age 84 of Brewton, Alabama died on December 18, 2011. He was a former resident of Jay, Florida. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was the former owner and operator of Henderson Auto Sales of Brewton, Alabama. He taught Sunday school at Friendship Baptist Church in Flomaton for many years and was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to those that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Vollie Henderson; sisters, Arie Fowler, Lorene Hilton, and Emily Freeman and brothers, Ercy, Klein, and Robert Henderson. He is survived by his children, Mike (Kathy) Henderson; Sandra (Wayne) Forbush and step-son, Bobby Powell; sister, Wavolene Daugett; grandchildren, Jonathan (Nashisha) Henderson, Elizabeth and Sarah Henderson, and Shelley (Chris) Holzworth and great-grandchildren, Josiah, Mikaiah, Levi, Sophia, Grayson and Christopher.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Jay Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Henderson and LTJG Jonathan Henderson officiating services. Burial will follow at Jay City Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 6-8 P.M at Jay Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Belle Nelson and Covenant Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mr. William Earl Henderson.
