Prescott Selected for Under Armour Southeast Regional Tournament
Tyler Prescott, 6’4” Senior from Jay High School has been selected to the Under Armour Southeast Regional Tournament team. The Baseball Factory scouts selected a tournament team that consists of only 14 players from the Southeast area to play at Roger Dean Sports Complex in Juniper, Florida, the Spring training home of the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals on June 6-12, 2012, Tyler has been selected to play two positions in these tournaments which will be pitcher and 1st baseman, the team will be playing against some of the best travel teams across the national this week. This past Summer Tyler was also selected to play on the Top 100 college Prospect team which was held in Panama City, Florida. Tyler has been contacted by several colleges to play for their baseball program such as Huntington College, Alabama State, Alabama Southern and Tallahassee Community College. Tyler is the son of Brian and Becky Prescott of Jay.
