Royals Win One -Lose One

The Lady Royals captured a win against District Rival Freeport Bulldogs Friday night48-27.  The Lady Royals had the lead early and kept it the entire game.  The Bulldogs were not able to score under the goal, their points came out of  7 of the 9 shots that scored were 3 pointers.

Scoring for the Royals: Tessa Hendricks -12, Hillary Hendricks -10, Becca Calloway -8, Emily Russell -5, Olivia Wright -4, and Taylor Moore -4.

The Royals had a fight on their hands with the Freeport Bulldogs in the boys game.  Jay came up short 46-53.  The boys battled back from  12 points down in the first to a 25-28 half time score.  Leading the scoring for the Royals was Todd Laney with 14 points and Tyler Prescott had a double-double for the team scoring 12 points and capturing 18 rebounds.
