Law Enforcement Asking for Public’s Help in Identifying Arsonist
Between August and December of 2011, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement, the Fire Marshal’s Office and the Midway Fire Department have responded to more than 70 various types of fires in the Gulf Breeze area. The majority of these files appear to be intentionally set brush fires. However, there have also been 3 fires intentionally set at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness Church located at 1692 Mohawk Trail and Tiger Point Dentistry located at 1371 Country Club Road that may also be related to the intentionally set brush fires. 14 have occurred along Gulf Breeze Parkway, 8 on Hickory Shores Road and 5 on Mohawk Trail (3 at the Jehovah Witness Church). These fires are believed to be intentionally set by an arsonist(s) and anyone with any information pertaining to these fires, please call one of the numbers below:
