Baptist Health Care Welcomes New Chief Human Resources Officer
PENSACOLA, Fla. (Dec. 7, 2011) – Darlene Stone has been named vice president and chief human resources officer for Baptist Health Care (BHC).
Stone brings with her an extensive background in human resources strategy and operations, as well as a proven success rate in creating and sustaining an employer of choice culture. She joins us from Central Florida Health Alliance, a nationally recognized two-hospital not-for-profit health system located in central Florida, where she served for 11 years as senior vice president of human resources. During her tenure, the health care system was recognized as a top place to work by numerous organizations.
She earned a master’s in business administration from University of Phoenix in Tampa, Fla., bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Association.
Stone’s leadership and management skills will be an asset to the innovation of BHC’s human resource domains, including: strategic planning, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness and total rewards and employee benefits.
