Central splits with Gulf Breeze

The Lady Jags defeated the Dolphins 40-22 in basketball action Monday night.  Hayleigh Padgett was 6 for 6 on free throws in the game.  Scoring for Central were:  Makayla Simmons – 16, Sarah Forsythe – 10, Hayleigh Padgett -6, Natelie Jernigan -4, Brittney Forsythe -2, Myranda Jernigan -2. Stats: Sarah Forsythe 4 assists, 6 rebounds; and Makayla Simmons 4 steals, 10 rebounds.

The JV Lady Jags had a tough loss to Gulf Breeze 22-33.  The JV team is young and as the team gains experience expectations are high for the upcoming years.   Scoring for the Jaguars were: Haley Gauthier -10, Sarah Smith – 8, Tyler Smith -2, and Sarah Bone -2.
