Lady Royals win big over Gulf Breeze

The Jay Lady Royals came out strong in the second half and beat Gulf Breeze 53-35.  The Lady Royals turned up their offense and shut down the Dolphins scoring in the second half to dominate the court.  Scoring for Jay were: Tessa Hendricks -12 ,Olivia Wright – 6, Hillary Hendricks – 14, Taylor  Moore – 6, Rebecca Calloway – 7, Taylor McCarty – 2, and Emily Russell – 6.

The Jay Jr. Varsity Girls Basketball team controlled the game  Tuesday night at Gulf Breeze winning 32-17. The Girls JV team is coached by Nathan Kemp.  He records his first win as a high school coach. Scoring for the Lady Royals were: Dana Blackmon – 11, Katie Baker – 1, Sammy  Cerqueda – 9, Paige Smith – 1, Carissa Mulford – 2, Kolby Copeland – 2, Samantha Steadham – 2, and Bayleigh Upton – 2.
