Ladies Basketball Tip-Off Tournament
The Lady Jaguars hosted the Tip-Off tournament Monday night. Jay and Gulf Breeze hit the courts first. Gulf Breeze dominated the game. The final score was 22-49 in favor of Gulf Breeze.
Central and PCA had the second game. Central easily defeated PCA (40- 21) to advance to the championship game on Tuesday at 7:15 against Gulf Breeze. Jay and PCA will face off at 6 pm.
Scoring for Central in the win were: Makayla Simmons- 16, Sarah Forsythe – 13, Brittany Forsythe – 4, Haleigh Padgett – 4, and Natelite Jernigan – 3. Haleigh Padgett had the most rebounds with 9.
