Jay Jr. High wins big against Ernest Ward
The Jay girls Jr. High Basketball team easily defeated Ernest Ward 25-9 in their first season game. The girls are coached by Becky Holley. Scoring for the Royals were: Carissa Mulford – 10, Hannah Prescott – 6, Destiny Herring – 3, Briston Campbell – 2, Kennedy Salter -2, and Emily Ashworth – 2.
The Jay boys Jr. High Basketball team under the direction of Athletic Director Lance Youngblood also posted a win for their opening game.
