Central splits with WS Neal Middle

The Central Junior Varsity Girls and 9th Grade Boys hosted WS Neal Middle school Thursday night in basketball action.

The Lady Jags were unable to control the court and lost the game 13-20.

The Central 9th grade boys jumped out to an early 11-0 lead.  WS Neal closed the gap and the teams went to the locker room tied at 12.  The boys continued to press the ball and with some quick defensive plays the Jaguars took the lead and held on to it to win the game 29-24.  Scoring for the Jaguars were:  Nolan Frady #10 – 17 points, Tanner Lucas #13 – 3 points, Brad Moye #20 – 1 point, Cody Abel #21 – 4 points, and Tristan Ellison #30 – 4 points.
