The Terrace – Now Open

The Terrace, an Assisted Living Facility located in Jay is now open.   The facility will house near 70 residents.  Tours of the complex are available  Monday through Friday from 8 to 4.  Located behind the local hospital on Florida Ave. the facility has a serene ambiance. Volunteers and visitors are encouraged to interact with the residents .  Many activities are planned and the staff  hopes to have guests come in and host special entertainment for the residents.

The Terrace has a fabulous dining hall, a beauty shop, gathering areas, activity room and more.  Below is a photo gallery of the facility. From the color on the wall to the cozy Florida room the atmosphere of the complex is welcoming.

The Terrace is phase one of a three phase retirement village (Ivey Acres)  planned for the Jay area.

The second phase of construction will be an Independent Living Center, The Estates.  The residents will have a living area consisting of a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette.  The Estates will be connected to the Terrace by a covered walkway.  Phase three of the development is a skilled care facility. The development for this building is still in the planning stages.
