New Medicare Advantage PPO Agreement Between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida and Baptist Health Care in Escambia County
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Inc. (BCBSF) has signed a new Medicare Advantage PPO network agreement with Baptist Health Care in Escambia County, Fla.
With this expanded agreement, BlueMedicare Regional PPO members can take advantage of Baptist Health Care’s nationally-recognized quality service and care. The agreement was effective Oct. 1, 2011.
“Baptist Health Care and BCBSF have worked together to serve the health needs of members in northwest Florida for more than 25 years,” said Jane Tuten, vice president for Senior Markets at BCBSF. “We are excited to expand our agreement to include our zero-premium Medicare Advantage PPO plan.”
