Convicted Sex Offender Arrested for Molesting Minor in Navarre

A Navarre man has been arrested for Capital Sexual Battery on a Victim under 12 and Lewd and Lascivious Behavior on a Victim under 12. The suspect, Justin Andrew Curtis Redfield (25 years old) was arrested after allegations had been made that he had sexually assaulted a victim under 12 years old, on numerous occasions, at his residence located in the 2200 block of Panhandle Trail, Navarre, FL. The crimes allegedly occurred between 9/01/11 and 10/11/11. His arrest occurred after the complainant contacted law enforcement on 10/11/11. After speaking with the victim, investigators immediately located the suspect and conducted an interview with him. Redfield first denied any inappropriate activity with the victim. Later during the interview, Redfield admitted that he had accidentally touched the victim inappropriately while the victim was naked and they were wrestling on the floor. Redfield is already a convicted sexual offender, stemming from an incident that he was convicted of in October 2006 in Sanilac, Michigan. Justin Redfield was arrested for Capital Sexual Battery (1 count) and Lewd and Lascivious Molestation (9 counts). He is currently being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail with a $475,000.00 bond.
