Baptist Health Care Offers CPR Classes to The Community

PENSACOLA, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2011) – Would you know what to do if you found someone unresponsive? Did you know that two-thirds of cardiac arrest victims don’t make it to the hospital to receive proper care? You can make a difference and help to save a life.

Join Baptist Hospital’s LifeFlight Outreach Education on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 1301 W. Moreno St. for an all-day American Heart Association CPR class for family and friends. Five classes are available, 8 a.m.; 10 a.m.; 1 p.m.; 3 p.m.; 5 p.m., and will cover the basic steps of a CPR rescue for both adults and children, plus learn how to use an automatic external defibrillator – which is a life saver in CPR.

The cost of the class will be $10 for community members and $5 for Baptist Hospital employees. This is a non-credentialed course that covers similar techniques of a credential course. To register or for more information, call 850.434.4641.
