Central Splits with Laural Hill

Updated photos… Central 7th and 8th grade Basketball teams split wins against Laurel Hill in the games on Thursday night.

The 7th fought back to bring the score to 17 all at the half.  They finished the game with a score of 38-30.  The boys never gave up and Coach Matthews stated, “hard work played a part in the big win”.  Scoring for the Jaguars were: Tristian Ellison with 20 points, Chris Capps with 8 points, Tanner Lucas with 6 and Brad Moye with 3.

The 8th grade team were unsuccessful in their attempt to control the ball. Laurel Hill had several players that topped the rebound statistics in their favor.  The boys were unable to maintain the points spread that they had a half time and Laurel Hill went on to win 38-23.  Scoring for the Jaguars were: Cody Abel #21 with 8 points, Nolan Frady #10 with 10 points (who fouled out during the 4th quarter), Aaron Robinson #5 with 2 points, Bradley Garrett #23 with 2 points and Chase Dixon #34 with 1 point.
