Wilda “Jean” May

Wilda ‘Jean’ May, 77, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011. Jean died in Jay, FL, the community she loved, where she lived, worked and raised her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Judson ‘Ray’ May, her mother and father, James and Lois Bauldree and her brother, Winston Bauldree.

Left to cherish her memory, her sister, Virginia (Huston) Smith, her sisters-in-law, Barbara Bauldree and Maxine Ivey; her sons Gary (Dixie) and Christopher May; her beloved granddaughters, Rachel and Gena; her step-granddaughters Stacey (Casey) Casady, Ruston, LA and Kelly (Chris) Hinnant, Pace, FL; three great-granddaughters and many loving members of her extended family and community.

The family will meet friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, August 17,2011 at Jay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at Jay First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Concord Primitive Baptist Church with reception to follow at the Jay First Baptist fellowship hall.

Jay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
