Farmer’s Opry will host Country Showdown
Chumuckla, FL – by NSR News: Farmer’s Opry in Chumuckla, Florida will play host once again to the 30th Annual Country Showdown. The local showdown will be August 27th at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available and only 10.00+tax for the show. To reserve yours call the Opry at 850-994-6000. This contest is designed to find the most promising undiscovered country music talent across America. Any singer/songwriters interested should contact WXBM for official rules or visit their website at www.WXBM.com . 10 contestants will be selected to perform that night. The deadline to enter is Monday, August 8th before 5 pm. The winner will advance to a State competition and that champion will go on to one of 5 Regional Finals. The National Final is held at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. The ultimate winner will receive the Grand Prize of $100,000 and the National Title. A uniform judging system is used at all levels to competition to help ensure fairness. The Opry will have dinner before the show starting at 4:30.
